Country's highest peak is located in The Ahaggar Mountains (or the Hoggar Mountains), in southern Algeria (central Sahara). Mount Tahat stands at 3,003 meters (9,852 ft.).
Majority of Algerians speak Arabic, while a minority speak Berber language. Large number of Algerians speak also French language.
