- Until 1830 there was territory in South America named Gran Colombia. Territory split in to three countries, one of them being Venezuela and other two Ecuador and Colombia.
- Andes mountain range stretches throughout South America, all the way to Venezuela and Caribbean coast. Pico BolĂvar is the Venezuela’s highest peak at 4 979 meters (16 335 ft.).
- Venezuela has one of the most beautiful coastlines surrounding the Caribbean sea. Beaches, for an example on Venezuelan island of “Isla Margarita” are pristine paradise.
