On the coast of Dalmatia, Croatia (map) facing the Adriatic sea, around 50km south from Split is the Makarska Riviera. Makarska Riviera combines around ten coastal towns and as many pristine clear water beaches.
Raising almost vertically from the sea, below and behind towns of Makarska Rivera is Bokovo mountain with it’s highest point, St. Jure standing at 1762 meters.
