In the Lachine marina, just beside René-Lévesque Park, begins Lachine canal, in months of Summer the waterway for pleasure boats connecting Lachine with old port Montreal, and via St Lawrence river with Quebec city (photos), all the way to the Atlantic ocean (discover).
Park is a peninsula surrounded on 3 sides with water. Park features more then a dozen art sculptures, arboretum and already mentioned marina on opposite side of a channel.
