Tale placed in post-apocalyptic era… After reading the novel full of traumatic experiences and without one ounce of humanity left among most of the surviving humans, some out there did not want to watch the movie and go, once again, through that experience. It’s an amazing movie.

After many great and original SF movies in 20th century, I believe that it’s not easy to make another movie I would place on this page. District 9 is in all of the aspects of movie making one that deserve watching & recommendation. Could be easily placed among top five SF movies ever made.

An excellent movie, not much talked about though. I would recommend it to everyone but definitely to married man.

An extraordinarily well made drama placed in the city of Medellin, Colombia.

With that said, you’ll find here list of movies few decades long, that we’ll not call the best in our opinion but movies that should be placed on everyone’s must see list. We will leave up to you to love them or hate them, but, we’ll call this “the must see list of movies” and we will update it more or less frequently with old and new movies we come across and think they fit the criteria.

There is an emotional aspect of being a solider, under stress, shoot at and in danger day in, day out. All of you who have experienced combat, tense moments in a war, death and pain shared with fellow soldiers, than mistrust and disagreements among those same fellow comrades you relay on, you may find part of yourself in this movie.
Only disappointment are some comments around the web, even by those who claim to be soldiers or were soldiers in different countries, and are giving this movie thumb down because of one scene featuring the broken wheel on a wagon. Common!
