Brela is one of the largest and nieces beaches on Makarska riviera (video). Brela is located 15km north from Makarska (around 50km south from Split, the largest city in Dalmatia).
Rising from the depths of the sea, Biokovo mountains vertical slopes are touching the sky at 1762 meters and on another side just above the beach are host to numerous tourists in many hotels, private accommodations, villas etc.
Countless restaurants are serving spectacular Mediterranean dishes, local cuisine combined with seafood and Dalmatian (travel notes) wines.
