Hello World!
My name is Kristijan (pronounced Christian) and on this page I’ll try to introduce you to the past, present and the future of World Through News.com.
World Through News.com is “an old” web site that in 2009 had absorbed all the features of a Blog, with content from and about, more or less, world out there.
Content we refer to as a “1/2″ is, basic info about countries and simple geographical maps. We started to reintegrate that old data to fit this format, since they were part of, Travel & News – search engine and directory also featured on this address until 2009.
First things first and let’s say right at the beginning that our Blog and Online store is being kept neat and tidy (at least we like to think so) from city of Montreal, in the Canadian province of Quebec.
History
Idea and concept for World Through News have been drafted in 1998 and soon after first version of search and news directory, later extended to travel, with links to news, travel and related sources from around 200 countries, photographs, videos, e-cards, and an advertising system have been placed online.
The present Web site address, WorldThroughNews.com has been registered on October 21, 1999.
Since then World Through News had went through few design layout changes, few technical upgrades and many data updates. Over time some features have been dropped and new ones have been added. Latest upgrade is ongoing right now as you read this.

Since first days and manually updated pages in 1998, registration of .com domain name in 1999, then introduction of Travel & News directory and search engine in 2001 (feature retired in 2009), World Through News had become an online magazine with search directory, and most recently blog full of interactive features and connected articles, photographs, videos, maps, etc.
By sharing, our and your passion for design, travel, discovery, good, entertaining and useful news, and a lot of times not so good news witnessed by us and you personally, or brought to our attention by individuals, groups, maybe a blogger, press releases and others from around the world, we believe that by expressing different views in civilized meaner there is a chance for better understanding among all of us despite of differences.
Future
That’s why in 2009 World Through News.com made another step forward, step which enables you to express your opinion on different news, photos, videos, travel blogs, design posts etc. In short, that your knowledge, experiences and ideas are heard world-wide.
And, no matter what, always remember; “Conflict is ‘natural’ response to failure to communicate!”
