World Through News.com is a a web site covering Internet, web and graphic design, news, travel, gastronomy, World’s journey through life of human kind and anything else of interest, presented also in our travel notes, on photography and video.

My name is Kristijan, and if you are breaking your tongue right about now, I would suggest reading it as Christian (so much about keeping religion out).
On this page I will try to give an answer to few questions, you may have, about me or this web site.

As you may have already noticed this web site is also hosting an Online store featuring photographs, graphic and web designs. While on the web site are shared experiences from World that surrounds us, most of the effort goes toward web and graphic designs for you or your business, as well as into creation of designs found across this web site.
Location
First things first and let’s say right at the beginning that this web site and online store are being kept neat and tidy (at least I like to think so) from the city of Montreal, located in the province of Quebec, Canada.
This is where I, Kristijan, a graphic designer, started working on this project at the end of 20th century.

Why WorldThroughNews.com?
World Through News.com is “an old” web site that in 2009 had absorbed all the features of a Blog, incorporating existing content about, more or less, World out there.
Content I refer to as “existing” is, basic info about countries and simple geographical maps. Reintegration of that old data is ongoing process and we would like to preserve it entirely since it has been and still is playing a practical role as handy web site content, one that was included in news and travel search engine (featured on this address until 2009).
History
Idea and concept for World Through News.com have been drafted in 1998 and soon after first version of search engine and news directory, later extended to travel related sources from around 200 countries, also featuring photographs, videos, e-card service, and an advertising system have been placed online. To find appropriate home for available content, present Web site address, WorldThroughNews.com has been registered on October 21, 1999.
Since then World Through News.com went through few design layout changes, few technical upgrades and many data updates. Over the time some features have been dropped and new ones have been added. Web site today is no longer what it was in the “down of time” and if you are asking yourself, “why still the same domain name?”, then I’ll answer with three simple words; “for sentimental reasons”.
